One of the fundamental elements of Acisa’s Compliance System is The Ethics Channel . Anyone, whether or not they are part of the organisation, can use it to receive information on the compliance model, express doubts about potential non-compliance, propose improvements to the system and make complaints about issues related to compliance and business ethics, in a confidential way and according to applicable legislation.

Acisa’s Compliance System is one of the pillars for the Group’s its institutional commitment to conduct all its activities and businesses according to strict standards of ethical conduct. In addition to the Ethics Channel, Acisa has a Code of Ethics which is the foundation to the organisation’s Compliance System. This code covers the values, rules, and principles of its corporate culture.

Questions that may arise when making a consultation or filing a complaint through the Ethics Channel:

Can I make a query or complaint anonymously through the Ethics Channel?
Yes, you can choose not to identify yourself. However, we recommend that you provide your contact information so we can better follow up on the issue raised. The processing of personal data collected through the Ethics Channel has the sole purpose of investigating facts that have been reported. Data is restricted and confidential, always giving priority to the protection of the informant in accordance with current legislation.

What issues can I raise through the Ethics Channel?
The Ethics Channel is available to anyone external or internal to the organisation for queries about Acisa’s Compliance System, proposals to improve the system, and for internal control processes. It is also the channel to report breaches of the principles and values set out in the Code of Ethics, the organisation’s internal policies and procedures, and actions or omissions that involve a breach of the law and/or the commission of a crime.

What is the minimum information to be provided in a complaint?
To expedite how the reported event is treated, we recommend including the following information:

Brief description of the facts: please state the facts that are believed to constitute a violation in chronological order. Please indicate the department, company or project concerned, identify the alleged offender to the extent possible, as well as anyone who may know or corroborate the facts. Attach information and documents that you believe may contribute to clarifying the facts. If documentation is not available to the complainant, indicate what documents may be available and who has them, if any.

Indicate the type of violation:

• Infringement of the principles and values of the Code of Ethics and conduct policies. Please indicate which principle or principles are considered to have been violated.
• Violation of one of Acisa’s internal policies or procedures. Please indicate which policy or procedure is considered to have been violated.
• Violation of a law or commission of a crime. Please indicate which regulation/law is considered to have been violated or which alleged crime is being committed or is suspected of being committed.

Why should I refer to the Ethics Channel?
Anyone who is part of the organisation has the obligation to inform the Compliance Committee of any situation that may be contrary to the corporate Compliance System and hence generate a risk to the company.
All communications to the Ethics Channels and associated files are strictly confidential. Acisa also ensures complainants are protected against any type of retaliation, not disclosing their identity except to authorised personnel.

What is NOT the Ethics Channel?
The purpose of the Ethics Channel is to improve the company’s internal control and to react as quickly as possible to any actions that may be contrary to the corporate culture, its controls, or that may pose a compliance risk to Acisa. Before making a report against a specific person in the organisation, you should first consider making an inquiry so that we can help you determine the degree of certainty with which the potential violation is being committed. In other words, it is preferable to send a query first rather than an accusation.
It is not the place for vendettas, defamation, fraudulent use, or reputational damage. In fact, improper use of the Ethics Channel is considered a breach of the company’s internal processes and may result in disciplinary sanctions.

What is the contact email address?
The Compliance Department offers you access to the Ethics Channel via e-mail
